Little hands in action!

Sharing a day with students @movida_maya has been collaborating for years at this rural town, this time planting more trees and plants to make their plaza a better looking one, "like this people will take better care if they see it prettier" said the students of the the local project "Manitas en accion" (Little hands in action).

Students come here after classes every day and sit under the shade and protection of the Ya'ax ché (ceiba pentandra) the Mayan tree of life, students and birds, lizards, besides the nativa flora already living attached to its solid branches like wild orchids and other aerial plants.

If the will to change comes from within, change can become lasting and transformational.
