Phallus indusiatus, a fungus surprisingly edible, commonly consumed in Asia fried or in soups, just before it reaches its maturity. Its green spore-containing slime, attracts flies and other insects with its fetid smell, helping on its dispersion. It develops its fruit bodies during the night, fully developing within 15hrs, though its cycle last only a couple of days. In english is also known as "veiled lady" or "bamboo mushroom".

Phallus indusiatus, un hongo sorprendentemente comestible, comunmente consumido en Asia frito o en sopas, justo antes de alcanzar su madurez. Su baba esta llena de esporas que esparce a traves de los moscas y otros insectos que atrae con su olor fetido. Desarrolla sus cuerpos frutales durante la noche, desarrollandose completamente en 15hrs, aunque su ciclo dura tan solo un par de dias. En español conocido como "Velo de novia".
